About the Aritst

Mitch Adams born in 1947, began painting at an earlier age, but later his career took a different path.Through the years his love of art has always remained an important part of his life. It was years later that he pursued his dream of becoming an artist. Over the years he has become a very successful artist known throughout West Virginia and the United States. He is a self taught artist, and is inspired by mountains and nature. All his oil paintings are made in the traditional way: with his own hands and paint brushes. He begins with a blank canvas, and step by step creates a hand-painted oil painting.. Unlike other competitors, there is no high-tech wizardry, computer tricks or printing presses behind his artwork. All paintings are 100% handmade on a blank canvas with oils, then personally signed.
